Explaining the Orderable ( HPE BIOPSY REQUEST, HPE SURGICAL REQUEST, FNAC TO MAKE APPOINTMENT, CYTO/SMEAR SPERMATOZOA ( FOR RAPE CASE ), TZANK SMEAR REQ, AUTOPSY REQ, FORENSIC REQ FOR PATHOLOGIST, FROZEN REQUEST ( URGENT REQ), IIMUNOFLOURESCENT REQUEST

AP to select prefix “by specimen” request.

System generated prefix number; proceed by preparing cassette

SP ( surgical Specimen ) to do Grossing by MO/Transcription by MLT

For Gynae request; do staining slide screen by Cyto Screener and resulted in “Cyto Result Entry” then slide review by pathologist for verification.

For Gon Gynae and IF (logged in) : send away to HKL.

TZANK Smear do staining then slide reviewed by pathologist for verification.
